A. Before you apply

1. Have you chosen your degree programme and course?
   Studying both the Bachelor’s degree and the Master’s degree study programmes enables students to choose from several attractive courses, some of which are unique in Central Europe.
2. Do you know where it is best for you to study?
   The main campus is in Prague, where the majority of courses are run, but you can study part of your course closer to your home at one of our institutes.
3. Do you know what the campus is like, who your tutors will be and what your colleagues are like?

B. Admission procedure

1. Official announcement of the admission procedure
   Details about the admission procedure for particular academic year is announced in advance by the University Rector. Please go to Regulations and Directives to find more information.
2. Submitting application
   To sign up for an admission interview, you need to fill in an online application form available at the university website (https://vsmvv.moggis.cz/prihlaska.php). You will be given the interview date according to the date of your application submission. See Regulations and Directives for more information.
3. Application fee payment
   The application fee of 500 CZK can be paid via bank transfer to the university bank account or in cash at the Student office (Studijní oddělení). When filling in the payment order use your date of birth as a variable symbol. The university has a bank account at Komerční banka, Praha 2, nám. Míru.
   
   When paying from a KB account use 868965510257/0100, when paying from other than a KB bank account the first two digits must be hyphenated as follows: 86-8965510257/0100. When paying from abroad, please use IBAN: CZ6201000000868965510257; SWIFT (BIC) – KOMBCZPPXXX.
   
   Please make sure you have the proof of application fee payment with you when attending the interview.
4. Personal interview
   There are five different dates scheduled for interviews (so called rounds), so that all applicants are able to attend. For more details please go to Admission Procedure Schedule of the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes. The personal interview is designed to assess the applicant’s general study potential, general knowledge, communication skills and his or her motivation and interest in the course. Applicant’s secondary school grades, language certificates and work experience related to the study discipline are also relevant when the decision on admission is being made.
   
   Please make sure you have a certified copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or Bachelor’s diploma with you. International students will also need to submit a proof of nostrification (official recognition of their diplomas or certificates).
5. Admission procedure results
   The applicants are informed about the results of the admission procedure in writing via post no later than 30 days after the admission procedure.

C. Beginning to study

1. Enrolment
   Successful candidates have to enrol at the university registry office before the start of their course. The date of enrolment will be available at Regulations and Directives under Official Notice Board section. Enrolment is a festive occasion because since this moment the successful candidates become rightful members of Academia.
2. Tuition fees
   All students are obliged to pay tuition fees in order to study at the university. The current tuition fees rates for Bachelor’s degree programmes and for Master’s degree programmes as well as for full-time and part-time programmes can be found in the Tuition Fees section.
3. Information on the current academic year
   The Term and Exam Schedule is an essential regulation for each academic year. It informs about key dates and deadlines of the relevant academic year. The regulation can also be found at Regulations and Directives section.
